WHAT TO EXPECT FROM
 NESHEIMS
What to Expect from Nesheim’s

Because we want you to get the best possible results, your assistance in handling the few items below is appreciated.

Before We Clean
If possible, remove all breakable items such as pictures, lamps, etc., from furniture we will be moving. Remove any small pieces of furniture such as dining room chairs, magazine racks, floor lamps, plants and toys. It will shorten the processing time and improve drying.

When We Arrive
We treat your home with as much respect as we treat our own, so when we arrive, we prep your driveway by putting a tarp down to make certain that we will not leave any oil drips from our trucks. Then we place a mat at the front door to wipe our feet on before we enter. We put runners down to protect the floors while we set up and place wall-buddies in vulnerable areas to protect the corners of your walls. We take extra care while moving your furniture and our technicials will wear white gloves while doing so. If you would be so kind to please remove all breakable items such as pictures, lamps, etc., from furniture we will be moving. Remove any small pieces of furniture such as dining room chairs, magazine racks, floor lamps, plants and toys. Moving these items out of the way will shorten the time it takes to clean your carpets or upholstery and improve drying times.

After We Clean
Drying times can vary widely due to humidity, degree of soil and the density of the carpet. To speed up drying time, you may wish to set up a fan, open windows, or turn up the heat (depending upon the weather). Place a towel by doorways to wipe shoes while carpet is damp. Try to minimize traffic on freshly cleaned carpet and remember, walking from a damp carpet onto a hard surface can be very slippery! Vacuum traffic areas after the carpet is completely dry to remove any soil left while damp, and to eliminate stiffness. To avoid stains or rust marks, remove blocks and tabs from under furniture after 24 hours. Please keep small children off wet carpet for at least 4 hours because damp carpet is more susceptible to staining.

To maintain the appearance of your carpets and upholstery between cleanings, we recommend that you vacuum often and in the case of spills to follow out Seven-Step Spot Removal Technique, click here.

To maintain the appearance of your hardwood floors, we recommend that the floors are cleaned regularly using Bona cleaning products. We also recommend a professional recoating of hardwood floor periodically so that the finish is not allowed to wear off down to the bare wood.

To maintain the appearance of your stone or tile floors, we recommend you vacuum or sweep regularly and, if necessary, use a slightly damp mop to wipe up spills. We do not recommend the use of a bucket of water and an old-fashioned mop because this technique will push the dirt down into the grout lines leaving the grouting looking dull and dirty.
