To keep your carpets looking their best, professional carpet cleaning can bring life and luster back to your carpet by removing soil, oils, and dirt that cannot be removed by regular vacuuming and reflect that wonderful image you created when you first decorated your home. We have developed a 10-Step process that leaves your carpets looking practically new, deodorized and protected from future spills.

The Cleaning Process
Step 1: First we pre-inspect your carpets. Our expert technicians will inspect your areas of concern while noting your carpet’s construction and general soil condition. We will notify you if we find any evidence of permanent staining.

Step 2: We pre-vacuum using a special Turbine Vacuum System to remove all of the dry soil. This is one of the most important steps in cleaning because dry soil can be abrasive to the carpet fibers.

Step 3: We will move furniture such as sofas, chairs and tables, if you request it. Larger pieces such as beds and entertainment centers are left in place. Furniture moving is included in our Platinum Cleaning Package. We do request, however, that you remove any fragile or breakable items before we arrive. We will use white gloves while moving your furniture to protect the surfaces. Once the furniture is moved, we will clean the area where the furniture was, then return the furniture to place, putting each piece on disposable styrofoam blocks with water-proof tabs underneath so that the furniture cannot touch the wet carpet which may cause staining. We recommend that your furniture remain on the blocks and tabs for 24 hours to make sure that the carpet is completely dry before removing them.

Step 4: We pre-spray and pre-spot any problem areas to loosen up the soil. This makes rinsing even more effective. We use cleaning compounds specially designed for your particular carpet whether your carpet is wool, olefin berber, nylon berber, or cut pile nylon. We will use only non-toxic, biodegradable chemical agents to preserve fabric and fiber integrity while maximizing soil suspension.

Step 5: We rinse and extract the dirt. Once the soil has been loosened, our state-of-the-art truck-mounted hot water extraction process will thoroughly flush the carpet which helps to sanitize and deodorize. Water pressure is highly regulated depending upon the ghickness and depth of the carpet, so that the carpet does not become overly wet.

Step 6: We neutralize for pH balance so that there is never any sticky residue left behind. This treatment is applied through the steam extraction machinery or after rinsing depending upon the level of carpet soiling.

Step 7: We post-treat the spots and apply Scotchgard protector, if you request it. Scotchgard is included in our Gold Carpet Cleaning Package. If we find any spots that were not completely removed during the steam cleaning process, we use specialty techniques based upon the type of spot we find. We use written procedures that cover every situation we have ever encountered. Scotchgard helps to protect your carpet from future stains and gives the carpet a longer life.

Step 8: We speed dry your carpet using high-velocity air movers which are strategically placed on the carpet to maximize drying and drying speed. We move the air dryers from room to room as we work so that your carpet is nearly dry by the time we finish our work.

Step 9: We post-groom your carpet to enhance its visual appeal. We use a professional brush, comb or rake to restore the fluff and set of the carpet pile. This assures faster drying and gives the carpet a finished, detailed look.

Step 10: The final step is to walk through your home with the technician. We want to make sure you are satisfied with the job we have done, so we want you to inspect our work. Once you have completed the inspection, we will ask you to indicate your satisfaction by signing the service receipt.
